Reducing Your Summer Cooling Cost

Keeping your home cool in the summer can be very expensive.  According to the Environmental Protection Agency, Energy Star, The average annual cost for heating/cooling a single-family home is $1,900.00.  Of that total cost 56% goes toward heating/cooling your home.   That cost can be considerably more depending on where you live, your home’s features, your cooling equipment, current energy prices, and your household’s behavior.  There are ways, however, that you can reduce your cooling costs.
